AGE: Really hard to say he looks around late twenties. But he must be at least 30 or 40, he could be hundreds too. I'm going to say 52.
HEIGHT: 183cm
BUILD: Well proportioned. Healthy.

AFFECTION: Sure. Unless there's a good relationship involved, he's going to be suspicious of it.
RELATIONSHIPS: Probably not romantic relationships. Otherwise aye, it sounds like fun. He's really casual about his sex life, happy to make acquaintances, hard to befriend. I'm not so much against romance as it is unlikely to happen, but if it goes naturally, all is good.
VIOLENCE: Anything. I'll even write death scenes but not repeatedly. I really like writing physical fighting threads.
TELEPATHY: Go for it! Just don't assume what's in his head, ask me or take your cues from my tags. Merlin might be a little harder to read than most people. But I don't have a problem with his mind being read.

PHYSICAL INFORMATION:
Tall with wiry muscles. He has been swinging a sword all his life so it shows in those shoulders. A little bit curly, dark hair and light eyes. He smiles. Often has facial hair. There's nothing really that distinct otherwise. He's physically a little stronger and little more endurable than a normal human.

MENTAL INFORMATION:
He has a very sarcastic internal monologue going on most of the time. He's intelligent, sharp and currently very likely to think everything from at least five different angles before settling on an interpretation. He has a highly trained mind but he's still young compared to his peers, so he sometimes can't keep up. He might seem at first glance clinically insane, paranoid and constantly contradicting himself. But on a deeper glance there's something profoundly good about him.

UNWANTED SCENARIOS:
Child torture, child porn, non-con, animal torture, not really that interested in domestic romance.

ADDITIONAL PERMISSIONS:
He has a sort of magical sight that allows him to see through quite a bit of illusion and especially magical trickery but it also reveals him certain baser truths about things. For example he would see a magically hidden door but not detect a trapdoor that has no magic on it.

So, if you want him to see something about your character, let me know, or if you don't want him to use that on your character, let me know as well. It's a power that has to be turned on and off and he rarely does tbh.

NOTES: Merlin comes from a multiverse and his canon is kind of 4th wall nightmare. I tend to avoid this because mostly it's not wanted. However, if your character is related to something universally well known and you want interaction that breaks the wall, let me know. For example there is a chapter in an Alice in wonderland setting in his canon and it becomes obvious that he has read the source material.

In the trenches and away from camps, Meliorn uses a low level Seelie glamour which basically hides his fair folk appearance--but I'm totally cool with Merlin seeing right through it and noting the blue in his hair, the vine markings along his neck and face, and his pointed ears. If age is a thing he can infer, Meliorn's old as balls, so there's that, too. :)
