Laughing with mouth full of food, not really caring if it was messy or not, Merlin shook his head while trying to chew and swallow at the same time.

Merlin drew the bottle of Jack he had almost finished earlier to himself and uncorked it, pouring them both a shot in fresh glasses. "You probably want something else to drink too. What do you want? Soda? Beer? Water?" He stood up and aimed for the cupboards.

Dean was fantastic company. Merlin missed touching him freely and without any awkwardness but he had missed more just not spending time with him.
